KACHIN STATE – According to Kachin news source, four of junta council military stations and police stations withdrawn their forces in Injangyang Township in Kachin State.
On November 21, three military stations of and police stations not having any armed conflicts with the revolutionary forces withdrew their forces in Injangyang Township, an upper reach of Myitsone, and moved to Myitkyina. The news was verified by a Kachin military news source on November 22 morning.
The source confirmed, “It is true that they withdrew their forces from possibly four stations. It seems that the armed forces in the regions of the junta’s weak militaries are withdrawn to reconsolidate their military strength.”
Dr. Tu Hkawng, the Union Minister for NUG (National Unity Government) wrote on social media, “It is known that all military stations, police stations and local administrative offices are shut down in KNU Brigade-1 controlled area in Injangyang Township located in an upper reach of Myitsone. Injangyang Township has been reclaimed by the revolutionary forces without bloodshed.”
The military stations withdrawn are Infantry Battalion (IB)-40, a police station, a military station in sixteen mile area and Gway Htaung station near Malikha river.
