KAREN STATE: The battle between the coalition forces of KNU Brigade (6) and the junta’s forces reportedly broke out in Kyaikdone region near the border for two days, as announced in the military news by the Special Military Operation Task Force under the Ministry of Defence, the National Unity Government on October 30.
Kyaikdone region is a sub-township in Kyarinsekgyi township.
In that region, the battle broke out for two days, October 24 and 25, as mentioned by the Special Military Operation Task Force.
According to the announcement of the Special Military Operation Task Force, two battles broke out with the military column with about 140 soldiers in two days, which caused eight, including majors, to get wounded and the deaths of ten soldiers.
The casualties of the junta’s forces cannot be confirmed yet.
In Kyaikdone region, battles frequently broke out last year, and the police station in Kyaikdone was raided by the coalition forces.
