NAY PYI TAW – The junta council announced that former Karen National Union (KNU) chairman Saw Mu Tu Sae Paw and the coup leader met in Nay Pyi Taw this morning to discuss peace.
In the statement of the junta council, it is seen that Saw Mu Tu Sai Paw was described as the leader of the Karen ethnic group and discussed the issues of peace.
According to the report of the military council, at the meeting, former KNU president Saw Mu Tu Say Paw was accompanied by former Central Committee member Pado Saw Roger Khin and the chairman of Duplaya district (Kyain Hseik Kyi), Pado Saw Shwe Moung.
