Locals said that the brother of the NLD party’s representative and his wife were arrested by the junta.
The NLD officially confirmed that the NLD parliamentary candidate, U Thet Naing’s brother and his wife were arrested at around 12:00pm on November 24th.
In Yay Township, the house of NLD member U Thet Naing’s house was raided on November 4th in Kamokkanin Village and this morning at around 6:00am. The junta searched for him but didn’t find him so they stole things from his house.
On October 2, in Yay Township, the junta came and arrested an old NLD candidate, called U Myo Win but they didn’t find him, his wife, his daughter, and his mother, who is 90 years old, were arrested as hostages.
In Yay Township, the supporters and the homes of NLD candidates were raided by the junta and the NLD office in the township was bombed.
