In a collaborative effort between the National Unity Government (NUG), the Ministry of Health’s Township Health Department, and the Myaylatt Guerrilla Force (MRG), children from a high school in Magway Division received essential healthcare services.
Medical assistance was provided by a team consisting of 1 doctor and 4 nurses from the Civil Disobedience Movement (CDM) in conjunction with the MRG troops.
The medical team rendered their services from 8:00 AM to 1:30 PM on June 13th. Children at the school received comprehensive healthcare, including blood pressure readings, injections when necessary, and prescribed medications.
A member of the Myaylatt Guerrilla Force shared their experience, stating, “The medical team provided us with blood pressure readings, injections, and medication to take.” The medical team treated nearly 70 children who were suffering from various ailments, including secondary fever infections caused by climate change. It should be noted that only children were included in this particular treatment, as older individuals did not attend.
This marks the third occasion on which such medical assistance has been provided, with approximately 300 individuals from five villages having received treatment thus far, according to the aforementioned officer. The collaborative effort between the NUG, the Ministry of Health, and the MRG aims to ensure the well-being of the local community and address their healthcare needs.
