MYANMAR – The National Unity Government’s Ministry of Defense has recognized the BLDF as a revolutionary force and will cooperate in military activities, the NUG Government’s Ministry of Defense has announced.
On March 3rd, the National Unity Government Ministry of Defense Officials from the Ministry of Defense led by Union Minister U Yee Mon and officials from the Burmese Liberation Democratic Front (BLDF) met somewhere in the liberated area.
In that discussion, the Burmese Liberation Democratic Front (BLDF) has a policy of seriously recognizing and accepting the National Unity Government (NUG) as the current interim revolutionary government according to the Federal Democratic Charter (FDC). So, the mechanisms of the National Unity Government, namely the People’s Administration Organization, People’s Defense Organization and the People’s Security Organization will be recognized and cooperated in revolutionary issues.
In addition, they will strictly follow the code of conduct established by the National Unity Government, and will fully accept the influence of the civilian government.
In order to achieve the success of the revolution, BLDF will be carried out under the chain of command of the Ministry of Defense (MOD) of the National Unity Government, under one strategy and one command. BLDF also pledged that its military activities will be carried out in a balanced manner in accordance with the overall military plans of the Ministry of Defense (MOD).
The Ministry of Defense of the National Unity Government has announced that it will accept and recognize the Burmese Liberation Democratic Front (BLDF) as a revolutionary force and provide necessary support and coordination.
