
SAGAING DIVISION – Yinmarbin Myauk Yamar People Defense Force (MYPDF) officials reported that around 200 continuous clashes have been happening in Pale, Salingyi, Yinmarbin and Kani Townships, Yinmarbin District, Sagaing Division since June 01 until now. Alhough the number of refugees have been rising day by day because of the clashes, local and international helps cannot be expected as needed.
“Junta have started using the drones connected with two 60mm to attack PDF while engaging clashes in Yinmarbin District. Currently, Military Armored Vehicles are just almost fake and not being used tactically,” MYPDF officials Ko Khant said.
Junta was attacked by a landmine along the Monywa-Yagyi-Kalewa Road, Yin Mar Bin Township on Tuesday (June 21) evening around 3 p.m. The landmine attack, which was done by “Cho Mai Mai,” Yinmarbin-Kani Alliance, was between the 5-mile gate of Monywa-Yagyi-Kalewa Road and Bant Bwe Village. Junta opened fire for a long time in return after that. The casualty of Junta soldiers could be confirmed, according to the PDF leader.
Stated junta troop, including infantrymen and a military vehicle, was already attacked with landmine by PDF Alliance on June 17 along the same road and a senior rank from junta troop got injured during this landmine attack. The June 21 attack was targeted again at the trip carrying back the injured senior rank from Bant Bwe Village side to Monywa.
There was also a landmine attack of PDF Alliance on a military convoy heading toward Monywa from Yinmarbin on June 19 around 1 PM near Ingyin Mountain along Monywa-Yin Mar Bin Road and there was a casualty in junta troop as per the locals.
According to a PDF included in the attack, “junta suffered as Local PDF Alliance attacked with Padaytha mine on four Military Vehicles including tank and around 150 junta force who came to make landmine clearing”.
Those attacks were performed together with the leadership of Bo Than Ma Ni from Yinmabin, Daung Min People Defense Force (DMPDF), Sit Kyun Ma Khan Mwae Soe Tathite (Golden Triangle Battalion) and Zarmani Pyout Kyar Mahuyar Bo San Phal Force (LUCKYSEVEN).
A junta Military Vehicle was damaged and around 30 soldiers were dead during the attack, DMPDF leader Bo Sekka said. The exact casualty of both sides couldn’t be confirmed.
