SAGAING DIVISION – On September 21 early morning, there was a mine attack on the junta troops who walked around near Thayet Pin Su Village after leaving with two vehicles from Ye-U Township, Sagaing Division. As a result, six junta soldiers died on the spot according to the announcement from the Spring Special Task Force (SSTF) of Khin-U.
“After we, the SSTF group attacked with landmines, six dogs (junta soldiers) died on the spot. Due to the unbalanced manpower and arm power, we couldn’t get the chance to grab the weapons,” SSTF described in the announcement.
SSTF also stated that the junta troops waged insurgently into Myin Daung Village, Khin-U Township, and assailed to the civilians after being attacked by the landmines. Then, they coalited with the other junta troops from the Alal Chaung Bridge side.
Moreover, SSTF struck the junta forces, concealed in their combat outpost in the Myin Daung school by dropping two bombs with drones while the other three junta troops had been deploying at Thayet Pin Su, Myin Daung villages, and Alal Chaung Bridge. The actual casualties of the junta regimes could not be confirmed after this attack.
In addition, SSTF appealed to the civilians not to travel along the Ye-U – Khin-U Road due to the unruled junta council insurgent around there.
Spring Special Task Force (SSTF) is said to be one of the Khin-U-based squadrons under the control of the Myanmar Royal Dragon Army (MRDA).
MRDA has also carried out military operations in Pale, Yinmarbin, Salingyi, Kani, Myaing, Pauk, and Monywa townships.
