MYANMAR – An event was held online at about 6 p.m. on May 5 regarding the funds raised from screening “The Way Musical Film” and the sales of souvenirs and explained how the funds was being used.
The Union Prime Minister of the National Unity Government, Mann Win Khaing Than, the creator and producer of the film Singer Lynn Lynn, Actor, and singer Chit Thu Wai, and the Way team members, and fundraisers from all over the world attended the event.
The Union Prime Minister said, “Since this revolution is a revolution that changes the system and establishes a new country, I am very grateful to “The Way” family for participating in this revolution. “ He said that he is also proud to be a part of ” The Way” family. Finance is very important in the revolution, and so far the revolution has been moving forward with the people’s wages, and the fund raised from “The Way Film” is used for education, health care, and for revolution with full control,” he said.
The director of The Way Musical Film and singer Lynn Lynn also said that they are all working hard to ensure that 100% of the revolutionary funds obtained from “The Way Film“ are used effectively without any spills.
The Way Musical Film screening and the sales of souvenirs have reportedly raised 287,759,465 Myanmar kyats (Thai baht – 24,205,437.47 baht) and those revolutionary funds were supported to each township of the upper Myanmar region with 5 million kyats, schools, libraries and playgrounds for children, rice and shelters for war displaced people, two hospitals and ambulances for Karenni State, one Music school, set hospital and surgical accessories for wounded comrades in Karen State and provided humanitarian assistance to Yangon, Ayeyarwaddy divisions and other regions.
The funds received were managed by the fund management team and donated directly to the ground in order to use them effectively in the necessary areas.
