On the evening of December 25th, people led by young men protested in front of the father-in-law’s house of the junta leader Min Aung Hlaing, holding banners that read, “no one is free when others are oppressed.“ Although junta forces in plain clothes tried to disperse the protest by force, the protesters safely escaped.
