MYANMAR- The Yu&Tulip Foundation group provided Starlink access to the PDF battalion in the Anya area to facilitate the communication line last Tuesday (April 2).
It was difficult to communicate among the revolutionary forces in the northern region and thus such a contribution was made. It is said that the value of Starlink access is over 34 lakhs, the material cost is about 7 lakhs, and thus the total cost is more than 40 lakhs.
“Communication is also important in the revolution. As the junta soldiers are no longer widely deployed on the ground, the army is working to cut communication (telephone and internet access), and it thus Starlink access is provided to reconnect the loose end,” said the founder of the Yu&Tulip Foundation.
She added that the Yu&Tulip Foundation has provided Starlink support to the battalions of the Anya region for the third time now and plans to provide more support.
The in charge of the PDF battalions receiving Starlink access thanked those who supported the batallion at the time of the difficult communication process.
“The Anyar region is suffering from the brutality of the junta army. Moreover, we are experiencing problems with the internet and phone lines. We had to find the signals by climbing up a hill and putting up the receiver on a bamboo pole. Thanks to Yu&Tulip Foundation for providing Starlink,” said the PDF battalion commander.
The Yu&Tulip Foundation was founded on December 8, 2023, by a (Burmese) woman in foreign and a local PDF support woman. It is said that they are also helping the injured soldiers and (for the rations of) PDF battalions and also the displaced persons due to war and arson attacks, in addition to providing Starlink Access.
