THAILAND—The Artists’ Shelter announced that all the money received from the film festival “Flowers Bloom in Bravery” will be used to help the war-displaced people in Rakhine State.
“All the money collected from ticket sales and donations from this film exhibition is intended to support shelters, tents, food, as well as seeds to grow crops for the war-displaced people in Rakhine State,” Artists’ Shelter announced.
The film festival was held in other countries and will be held on September 6 at Payap University in Chiang Mai.
At the film festival, four short films, “Guilt,” “The Unknown Infinity,” “We have only us,” and “Together,” will be screened.
For those interested to purchase tickets can contact the “Do One Thing” Facebook page or the agents. The movie poster highlighted that the advance ticket is 200 baht and will cost 250 baht if purchased on the day of film festival.
The festival is not only to watch four films, but will also include entertainment programs, including discussions with artists, and will also sell merchandise from the Artists’ Shelter.
