SAGAING DIVISION – An official from Kyunhla-Kanbalu Activists Team reported that the terrorist junta council carried out drone strikes targeting the villages in Kanbalu Township, killing five civilians.
Around 11 a.m. on September 28, the terrorist junta forces stationed at Sapaenantha Village in Kanbalu Township bombed Mhannipin Village using drones and three civilians were killed.
The same junta forces also carried out drone strikes on Yayshingyi Village on the Shwebo-Myitkyina Road between 3:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. on September 27, killing one civilian and injuring seven.
Similarly, junta forces that came out of Sapaenantha Village on that morning were reported to have shot and killed a woman who ran into them around two miles west of the village.
Also on September 27 the terrorist junta council carried out five airstrikes in Thirimon Village around 2 p.m., followed by more airstrikes targeting the villages of Thirimon and Myittarmon in the evening. Although the airstrikes did not result in civilian casualties, there were damages to houses.
