BAGO DIVISION- An official of the Southern Military Region reported that five soldiers, including an officer, were killed and many weapons and ammunition were seized during the attack on the frontline camp of the Terrorist Military Council in Khon Myint Thayar Village, Shwejin Township.
On August 31, at around 11:00 a.m., the frontline camp in Khon Myint Thayar Village, Shwe Jing Township, was attacked by the Southern Military Region. No. 2 Military Region Subdivision, KNLA Battalion-9, PDF Battalion 3702, the drone special unit 1805 of the Military Division, and the PDF Spring Warrior platoon. After the joint force started attacking with drones and went on the offensive, the military camp was captured after 6 minutes.
During the battle, 5 soldiers were killed and many were injured and fled the camp. A lot of ammunition, large and small weapons, and more than 400 bags of rice were reportedly seized.
The soldiers from the camp are those who fled from the Bokahter Camp after being attacked and they are stationed at a front camp in the village of Khon Myint Tha, the official of the Southern Military Region said.
