CHIN STATE – Heavy artillery shells fired by the junta council in Hakha on October 28 morning exploded near a house in Myothit Ward and a married couple, a young woman and a child were injured.
“I don’t know about the details of the injury but heard that it happened in Myothit. There was a heavy artillery explosion this morning (October 28). There haven’t been heavy artillery explosions in the city before,” said a Hakha resident.
Local news sites reported that the junta forces fired at least two rounds of heavy artillery shells from Rone Mountain around 8 a.m. on October 28, injuring an adult couple, a young woman and a child in Myothit, Hakha.
A resident of Hakha said that there have been no heavy artillery explosion in Hakha before and that this was the first incident.
