YANGON DIVISION – The vehicles owners said that the gasoline price has increased 100 kyats more compared to previous days, and vehicle owners said that they still have to queue to buy it.
on August 3 (Saturday), a litre of 92 grade petrol was charged 2,770 kyats, 95 grade was charged 2,895 kyats, a litre of Diesel was sold with 2,450, and premium Diesel was sold in 2,920 kyats per litre.
The rate is more than 100 kyats higher compared to the previous day.
Vehicle owners said that even though the price of oil has risen, they still have to queue in line to buy the gasoline, and some petrol stations only sell it with limitation.
“It’s not as difficult as recent days. I don’t have to wait too long in line. It’s just that the price has gone up,” said a vehicle owner.
Along with the price rise in gold and USD exchange rate, starting from recent days, many cities, including Yangon and Mandalay, have faced difficulties in purchasing fuel.
