MANDALAY DIVISION – The funeral of Comrade Than Htike (aka) Nyi Nyi, the finance department head and central executive committee member of Yadanarpon Revolution Force (YRF), who fell in battle in Ayadaw Township of Sagaing Division was held at the base of the revolution force on September 2.
“Alms were offered to the monks. Allied forces and civilians offered wreaths. It was held to honour him,” said the representative of YRF.
Comrade Than Htike was discovered dead with bullet wounds in his head in the peanut fields between Aitha Village and Htantaw Village in Ayadaw Township on August 27.
YRF has submitted a complaint to the President’s Office, Ministry of Internal Affairs and Immigration, Ministry of Defence, and Ministry of Human Rights on August 30 regarding his death.
