BAGO DIVISION – Clerk Aye Min Naing from the junta general administration department who came to collect the data on drafted recruits in Shwetaung Township, Pyay District, died after getting shot, reported the military intelligence and information officer of Pyay District People’s Defence Force (PPDF) Battalion 3601.
The junta clerk who came to collect data at Mamaegyi Village in Shwetaung Township around 8:30 a.m. on October 28 was reportedly shot in the temple and chest and died on the spot after being attacked by PPDF Battalion 3601 Company 4. It is said that Clerk Aye Min Naing, a resident of Tayotemhaw Village, had often declared that he is not afraid of the PDF forces.
Moreover, Aye Min Naing is known to have forcibly conscripted people for the junta council, extorted money from those who wished to evade conscription, and had also formed a Pyu Saw Htee team, claiming that he would defeat the PDF forces.
“We want to inform that we are taking decisive action on any pillar that are working for the benefit of the junta council,” shared the military intelligence and information officer of PPDF Battalion 3601.
It is reported that a mobile phone with recorded contacts to majors and captains of the terrorist junta army, 50,000 Kyats I’m cash, documents related to military conscription, and Pyu Saw Htee formation were seized from Clerk Aye Min Naing.
