MANDALAY DIVISION: The youths from the strike force were known to organise a guerrilla strike against the military dictator at a market in Mandalay on October 10.
The youths reportedly performed a strike movement, holding the banner “Response not Endure it” to do against the military dictatorship and sham election organised by the junta’s council at a market in downtown area where the junta’s soldiers and the militants (PyuSawHtees) who are supporters of junta’s council had been surrounded.
Mandalay Strike Force encouraged the civilians, saying “The scene you are witnessing now is the public strike battle by Mandalay residents who are revolting against the coup regime fascist army. The blood of civilians are never dry nor cold as they are trying to keep balance with the military actions and public strike battles. Let’s try to achieve the ultimate battle by performing the general public riot.”
