CHIN STATE – According to the locals, houses have been burned to ashes in many parts of the town by heavy artillery fire and arson by the military council since November 9, when the fighting in the Chin State began.
On the night of November 18, the Military Council burned down houses 2 and 3 miles from the Mindat town using Molotov, and a large number of houses were burned by heavy artillery fire.
“It is known that the houses are being burned in the city and that there have been a lot of fires caused by heavy weapons, and they have burned a lot of houses, and we don’t know exactly yet, and I think it will be officially released by the authorities soon,” said a local.
It’s been reported that Brotherhood CDF: Mindat and its allies have launched an attack on the Military Council camp in Mindat Township in the early evening of November 8th, and fighting is currently raging in the vicinity of the Mindat Police Station and the 274th Military Council Infantry Battalion, and the junta side is carrying out airstrikes and bombings not to lose the town.
According to the locals, the military council is airlifting hundreds of bombs a day on the city, and much of the city has been burned to ashes.
Chin Brotherhood has been Operating Operation CB since November 9 in Mindat and Falam, and the fighting has been raging until now.
