A man who lives in Banmauk town mentioned that the junta council servants from Settaw military camp hill (locally called) where the combination of the junta council’s division 77 and Pyu Saw Htee militants were stationed, on the early morning of December 2. It was located more than one mile away from the western part of Banmauk town.
He continued that “they (the junta council servants) retreated on the morning of December 2. There is no one left in the camp. They moved to the military camp in Banmauk town. They cleared the Settaw military camp and don’t stationed in the camp. They carried away all of the ammunition.”
