MYANMAR – Independent CDM Alliance is said to have held a photo campaign as a public movement on August 8 to commemorate the 36th anniversary of the 8888 democracy movement.
The movement was held with the slogans, “the unfinished fight against the dictatorship shall reach its end with the 21 Spring Revolution” , “8888 that has not reached its end shall be completed during our time” , “Go to battle with the strength of the people” , “claim the blood debt from 88 in 21” , “join the people if you wish to save the country and the army” and “8888 Never Give Up”.
