TANINTHARYI DIVISION: It was reported that there is intense battle happening near Laethit village, Tannintharyi township, Tanintharyi division, resulting in the death of (30) atrocious junta’s soldiers, according to a responsible person of No(2) Military Column of Myeik district coalition forces.
On July 18, about (200) atrocious soldiers came from Kyunsu township deployed the military action in the region, which were attacked by No (2) Military Column of Myeik district coalition forces. There had been (6) intense battles broken out in 10 days till July 28, resulting in the death of over (30) atrocious soldiers and several to get wounded. On July 28, the battle became more intense and the atrocious fascist soldiers were known to have stationed in Laethit village.
“Since July 18, the cooperation of army, navy and air force have marched from Kyunsu township. In ten days, there have been (6) intense battles broken out and today on July 28, the battle became more intense and now the junta’s military column was seen entering into Laethit village. There were over (30) junta’s soldiers died and a comrade of our forces got wounded,” as said by a responsible person of No (2) Military Column of Myeik district coalition forces.
Due to military actions by the atrocious junta’s soldiers in the region, several of local civilians have to flee from their villages. Moreover, the local civilians are under threats of heavy artillery, airstrike and flood, which resulted in various difficulties for food and shelter.
