MAGWAY DIVISION – The terrorist junta army summoned more than 100 private transport vehicles from Pakokku Town to use for sending ration to their military camps and Pyu Saw Htee villages at Pauk Township, the vehicles’ owners reported.
Starting from early October, the junta council’s soldiers at inspection gates and entrance gates of the town summoned and enforced the private vehicles to compulsorily joined to send ration to Pauk Township, and planned to set off on October 17 and 18.
“The drivers have yet to be released. The terrorist army makes use of people’s vehicles to send ration to Pyu Saw Htee villages. It has been long that they could send ration from land. Now they arrange again, I’ve heard that they will assign helicopters and planes for security,” a resident of Pauk Township reported.
The military columns are also said to be accompanying and the private vehicles summoned do not get the hiring cost and they had to fill in the patrol by themselves. The vehicles’ drivers were told that military council would not be taking any responsibility for the landmines attack or shooting on the way, and to take care of own safety.
