SHAN STATE – The terrorist junta council bombed Lan San Teashop in Zay Ward of Nawnghkio and 11 civilians were killed, reported residents.
The airstrike happened at around 3 p.m. on November 12, and it is said that many civilians were also injured.
“The bomb landed on Lan San Teashop in Zay Ward of Nawnghkio this afternoon (November 12). The teashop was flattened to the ground, and the houses and shops around it were also hit. Many passengers and drivers taking a rest stop were said to have been hit by the blast. 11 bodies have been recovered so far. There are also many injured, but the exact number is not known. Cars and houses also caught on fire,” explained the residents.
Recently, on November 10, around 6 p.m., the police stations in Zay Ward and Taung Ward were similarly bombed by junta fighter jets, destroying the police station, four houses in Zay Ward, and three homes in Taung Ward. A large number of houses were damaged in Myaungzee Village, Nawnghkio Township, after it was bombed by junta jets on November 4 as well.
