SHAN STATE – Local sources reported that the junta council bombed the University of Computer Studies in Lashio of northern Shan state that is under the control of MNDAA three times on October 5th morning.
Around 10:50 a.m. on October 5, junta planes bombed the university three times. No civilian casualties have been reported so far that it is said that there were damages to the buildings.
“No one was hurt. The University of Computer Studies was bombed. Because it is a bit far, I haven’t been able to go photograph the site,” said the local source.
The junta council also bombed the historic Kwanyin Temple in Lashio on October 4, which the MNDAA called an attack on historic sites targeting traditions, cultures and religion on top of targeting people.
Starting this july, the coup Council had carried out over 20 airstrikes in Special Region 1 including Lashio that is free from conflicts, repeatedly targeting civilian zones. The attacks injured over 100 civilians and damaged multiple schools, roads, other public spaces and homes, reported the MNDAA.
