MANDALAY DIVISION – Locals reported that two revolutionary soldiers died and a school, a monastery and some houses were damaged in Tharkyin Model Village after the junta council bombed the village in Nganzun Township.
It is said that the terrorist junta air force dropped 27 bombs into the village of around 200 households from 8:45 p.m. to 10 p.m. on December 5. The air raid killed two revolutionary soldiers and injured two more and also destroyed the school, monastery and several houses.
“The junta council bombing burned and destroyed five houses. The school and the monastery were also destroyed. Two revolutionary soldiers were killed and two more were injured. Four cows were also killed,” said a resident of Tharkyin Village.
Locals shared that the residents of Tharkyin Village have fled the village, afraid of further attacks by the junta council.
