SHAN STATE – The terrorist junta council planes bombed the General Technology High School (GTHS) and A T Tat U Monastery in Lashio City, according to social media posts by MNDAA members and local civilians.
The terrorist junta council is said to have bombed the GTHS and the monastery on September 25 at 2:15 a.m., 2:18 a.m. and 2:22 a.m., damaging several buildings but there were reportedly no casualties.
“We are unable to sleep well. If it’s a Y12 (plane), we can hear it from a distance. But if it’s a fighter jet, the explosions would come minutes after we heard it. We can flee if it’s a Y12 but we don’t have a chance to flee if it’s a fighter jet and the bomb lands on our house. We can’t fall asleep at night. It’s not just me. Pretty much everyone is the same,” said a resident of Ward 12, Zone 9.
It is said that two bombs landed in the GTHS and two more landed in A T Tat U Monastery during the bombings on early September 25 morning.
The terrorist junta council is reported to have carried out at least six major bombings in Lashio between August 30 and September 25, bombing the city on August 30, September 9, 10, 21, 24 and 25.
