TANINTHARYI DIVISION – An official from Myeik District People’s Defence Force (PDF) Coalition Column 1 said that the terrorist junta council bombed the school in Kwinthit Village and two other villages in Tanintharyi Township although there were no ongoing battle in the region.
The junta council reportedly bombed Kwinthit Village school, Kyaukmikyaung Village and Nyaungpinkwin Village (east bank) on August 9 with two K8W jet fighters without reason.
Although the people were not harmed during the attack, it is said that the residents have to live worried and anxious of junta attacks.
“There were no civilian casualties. The bomb landed inside the school compound. But a cattle was killed in Nyaungpinkwin Village,” said the official from Myeik District PDF Coalition Column.
The official advised the people to be extra cautious as the terrorist junta council has been frequently targeting civilian villages in Tanintharyi Township recently using fighter jets.
