BAGO DIVISION – The terrorist junta council bombed the villages in Phyu and Seikphyu Townships without battle, killing a civilian, injuring some, and damaging several buildings, according to residents and revolutionary sources.
On August 24 around 3:20 p.m., two fighter jets of the terrorist junta council bombed the villages of Taungkoneinm, Sakkone, Paukzalote, and Kyawhla in Phyu Township, injuring a civilian.
“They bombed around four or five times. It was pretty loud. Three houses in Kyawhla Village were damaged. We’re not sure about the situation in other villages. Yesterday (August 23), junta dogs (junta forces) sent reinforcements in cars and the revolutionary forces fell back. The junta dogs were staying in Sakkone (a village). We could hear them yesterday evening and last night, there were songs of heavy artillery. The junta dogs don’t dare go past Kyawhla Village. They don’t dare, even after the air force bombed the area. They are scared to death. There were many of them yesterday as well, but they didn’t move past Sakkone. There were cars and maybe ammunition, covered up in green sheets. The junta dogs were stocking up on rations and ammunition. There were also junta dogs in the cars,” said a resident.
Similarly in Seikphyu Township, the terrorist junta council bombed Nyaunggwauwa Village without reason, and a woman suffering from a stroke was killed as a result, according to an official from Spring Revolution – Myaing.
A junta jet fighter reportedly bombed the village around 5:10 p.m. on August 24 then attacked again, followed by an airstrike, targeting the village and the village school building at 5:15 p.m., killing the stroke patient and injuring two more civilians.
