BAGO DIVISION – On July 21, the junta’s soldiers were attacked two times in Taungoo township. Eight bodies and eight guns were seized, reported by the commando division, Taungoo township Brigade 2.
On July 21 at 5:00 a.m. at Ywar Tang Shae village and six miles junction, fighting broke out between Taungoo township Brigade 2 and more than 100 junta forces. There was another battle at 7:00 p.m. with 2 military vehicles driving on the road near the Htoe War Chaung village.
“We bumped into junta’s soldiers who came for sentry duty at at Ywar Tang Shae village and six miles junction and we shot each other. In Htoe War Chaung village, we ambushed and shot the 2 military vehicles,” said the responsible person from commando division, Taungoo township Brigade 2.
“During the first battle, at least ten junta forces were kileld. From the second attack, one of the military vehicle was burnt down and eight bodies of Junta’s soldiers together with eight guns were seized. The burnt vehicle was left in the road and the other one drove away towards Taungoo”, he continued.
Mr. Rajuu, the column leader of commando division, Taungoo township Brigade 2 leaded the first attack and commander Saw Muu Kapaw leaded the second attack, respectively.
