SAGAING DIVISION – A junta convoy was attacked on the Monywa-Mandalay Road and a coach bus was turned over.
Dog Killers People’s Defence Force Myinmu (DKPDF-MMU) said that they targeted the coach bus with the largest number of junta forces on board among the junta convoy of four vehicles that came from Monywa near the toll gate at the entrance of Myinmu on August 9 around 11 a.m.
The coach bus crashed and turned over from the attack and there could be junta casualties, according to DKPDF-MMU.
“They left the crashed car and only transported the junta forces. We heard that there were also junta forces attending military training on board. The bus was a passenger bus taken by force by the junta council,” said Mr. Moe Nyo, the leader of Moe Nyo Revolution Force (MNRF).
It is also reported that a G3 cartridge, 87 G3 bullets and several bulletproof vests were seized from the site.
The attack was led by DKPDF-MMU in collaboration with MNRF.
