MYANMAR – An official from Wundwin Township Revolution Force (WTRF) reported that a junta convoy was attacked on the old Yangon-Mandalay Highway and there were junta casualties.
Around 8 a.m. on November 6, the junta convoy heading to Mandalay on the old Yangon-Mandalay Highway was attacked near Nyaungpinhla Village by the revolutionary forces from WTRF.
Following the attack, junta vehicles came to a stop on the side of the highway and although there were junta casualties, the exact number is still being investigated.
“This morning (November 6), we blasted the last vehicle in the junta convoy that left Wundwin for Mandalay along the old Yangon-Mandalay Highway near Nyaungpinhla Village. The car came to a stop after the attack. We are still trying to find out the casualties of junta dogs (junta forces),” said the official from WTRF.
The official continued that terrorist junta forces searched the area near the site of the attack and advised the people travelling in the nearby area to be cautious.
In addition, the junta forces guarding the gas pipe line in Natogyi Township were bombed using drones, killing two, according to an official from Natogyi Regional Defence Force (NRDF) Myingyan District Battalion 8.
The drone team of NRDF reportedly dropped four grenades on the junta forces guarding the gas pipe line that were stationed in Natogyi around 12 noon on November 3.
Two junta forces were reportedly killed in the attack and more were injured while the revolutionary forces are said to be unharmed.
The attack was carried out by Myingyan District Battalion 8 – NRDF alongside Myingyan District PDO and Natogyi Township PDO.
