BAGO DIVISION – Local residents said that the terrorist army is burning down Aye Ywarlay village in Gyobingauk township.
On October 28th, around 6:00 p.m., a joint column consisting of the terrorist junta council troops and the local Pyu Saw Htee, who entered from Zeegon township, raided and destroyed by burning the Aye Ywarlay village.
“It started burning from around 6:10 p.m., by the column that entered Gyobingauk from Zeegon, and a column from Koneywar village from Gyobingauk. Now, it is Soe Min Naing, the leader of Koneywar and Kwin Chaung Village, who is burning down the village. It is known that that guy led and is now burning. Soe Min Naing also worked as a village administrator and the armed Pyu Saw Htee leader is leading,” a local resident said.
The above mentioned terrorist army column was continuously attacked by the revolutionary forces and they suffered a lot. It is reported that the soldiers of the junta council arrested and killed 5 people and are currently burning down four Aye Ywarlay village with about 150 houses.
The No. 2 Military Region said that Telgyi Village in Taungoo township, Bago division was also burned down by the terrorist junta council troops.
The junta council’s column was entered into the Bago range in the western part of Taungoo township, so, the PDF troops of 3501 regiment intercepted and detonated by mines. It was learned that 3 terrorist soldiers were killed and about 15 were injured.
After being attacked, the column was retreating to Telgyi village on October 27th, when the revolutionary forces again attacked with mines.
The No. 2 military region said that on October 27th, the terrorist military council soldiers burned down public houses in Telgyi village because of the casualties due to the intercepted attacks of the revolutionary forces.
