SAGAING DIVISION – Four civilians including a monk were killed and ten were injured after junta drones bombed an express bus on the Shwebo-Myitkyina Road in Kanbalu Township, reported an official from Kyunhla-Kanbalu Activists Group.
The terrorist junta forces stationed at the sugar mill in Zeekone reportedly used drones to drop five 81mm grenades on a passenger bus at 7:30 a.m. and 8:20 a.m. on November 18.
As a result of the junta attack, a monk, two men and a woman on board a Ngwe Toe Mahn express bus were killed and ten were injured. The identities of the victims are still being investigated.
“There was no battle. The bus made a rest stop by the road there and the junta dogs (junta forces) used drones to drop bombs on them, resulting in civilian casualties. Ten were injured. It is said that a monk and three civilians were killed,” said the official from Kyunhla-Kanbalu Activists Group.
In Kanbalu Township and Kyunhla Township, terrorist junta forces and Pyu Saw Htee militants have been raiding and torching villages, murdering civilians, using drones to bomb the villages and abducting civilians and forcing them to attend Pyu Saw Htee training in November. Around 130 civilians abducted by the junta forces are also not yet released.
In addition, junta planes bombed Alalkhone Village in Kanbalu Township and Ywakonegyi Village and Leiksintaung Village in Kyunhla Township for no reason on November 16 and 17, destroying three houses in Ywakonegyi Village, six houses, eight cars and a motorcycle in Leiksintaung Village, and Mr. Maung Naing was also killed by shrapnel in Khapaungyone Village.
