SAGAING DIVISION – The terrorist junta council forces brutally murdered six civilians in Sipar Village, Butalin Township, decapitating the heads and limbs, taking out internal organs and sawing down the flesh to the bones.
Junta forces raided Sipar Village on October 17 and set the entire village on fire, which resulted in burning down over 300 out of the 500 houses in the village. And after they left the village on October 19 evening, bodies of six civilians who were brutally murdered were discovered, said Mr. Moe Tauk, the responsible person for Sipar Village People’s Defence Team.
“The junta soldiers brutally murdered six civilians. Their heads were cut off and placed on poles. The village was also torched and over 300 houses were burned down. The murdered victims included elder men who lived in Sipar Village. We are not sure where some of the victims were taken from. The bodies are starting to rot,” said a member of a local defence force.
It is said that the junta forces cut off the heads and limbs of the victims, set them on fire, removed the internal organs and shave down the meat to the bones. Moreover, they reportedly also spread the organs all over the village.
“The murdered victims were ordinary civilians. They were Mr. Tin Hlaing, Mr. Kyaung Po, Mr. Yar Sein and Mr. Htay Lwin from Sipar Village and two more who are yet to be identified. We are still investigating. A total of six civilians were brutally murdered,” explained Mr. Moe Tauk.
The junta column that murdered the civilians and torched Sipar Village came from the junta Northwest Command in Monywa. That same column had set fire to multiple villages in Butalin Township, murdered at least 20 civilians and have also abducted around 100 civilians as hostages.
