YANGON DIVISION – An official from Operation Flame reported that junta forces were injured after the junta police from Hlawkar Police Station in Shwepyitha Township were attacked with two hand grenades while they were drinking.
At 7:14 p.m. on November 13, when junta police were drinking at the guard post at Hlawkar Police Station, revolutionary forces attacked them with two hand grenades.
“The target was the guard post in front of that police station. We threw two hand grenades. It hit the target. As the junta police as well as junta forces in civies were gathered, drinking there so there were casualties. We are still investigating the details. Our soldiers were able to fall back unharmed,” said the official from Operation Flame.
The attack was carried out by Operation Flame and allied Yangon UG People Army (YUPA). The official from Operation Flame added that they will work together with allied Yangon revolutionary forces and accelerate attacks to eradicate the terrorist junta council.
