KARENNI STATE – The Karenni Nationalities Defense Force (KNDF) Deputy Chief of Staff Mawi said that the junta leader Min Aung Hlaing’s claim that they have regained control of Loikaw is a blatant lie.
On November 30 noon, Mawi posted a video file through his social network, with the caption “Cheers to MAL (Min Aung Hlaing) who blatantly lied at the council meeting.”
At the junta council’s meeting held on November 29, military leader Min Aung Hlaing said that they have regained control of the city of Loikaw.
“Cheers. Cheers to the Mother****er who blatantly lied at the council meeting,” three officials of the Karenni Joint Force responded to Min Aung Hlaing’s statement by drinking soft drinks on the Tay Nga Lyar Lake Bridge in Loikaw City.
“Two bombs were dropped by an airplane in the morning. The shootings are still heard some time,” a local resident in Loikaw said.
KNDF has informed that two-thirds of the city of Loikaw can be deployed by the revolutionary forces within 19 days of the 1111 operation of the Karenni forces that began on November 11.
Until now, there have been at least 200 casualties of junta council soldiers in the battle of Loikaw City. The terrorist army troops are stationed in police stations, government offices, some departmental offices, high-rise buildings, schools, universities and religious temples.
In Loikaw, apart from the Regional Command Center (Loikaw), there are also bases of junta infantry battalion 261, 250 and 54, as well as artillery battalion 362, army hospital No. 7, and ordinance and transport battalion 722.
