Over the course of two days, a local resistance group engaged in continuous attacks against a military council force comprising approximately 150 personnel in Pearl Township, located in Sagaing Division, central Myanmar.
According to the information provided by an official from the Myanmar Royal Dragoon Army (MRDA), the resistance group initiated the first attack near Nwe Shout village, situated 3 miles away from Pearl city, on June 11th. The following day, they ambushed the military council force once again on the road to HlawKar village, located south of Nwe Shout village.
During the intense two-day confrontation, it is believed that at least 10 members of the military council were killed and several others may have been injured. However, no casualties were reported from the MRDA’s side.
The military council has remained silent regarding these incidents, refraining from providing any official statement or response.
