SAGAING DIVISION – Junta forces patrolling in civilian cars in Myinmu Township were attacked with mines, resulting in casualties, according to an official from People’s Knight Defence Force Myinmu (PKDF-MMU).
The junta patrols that came out of Myinmu Basic Education High School No. 1 towards Wanpyae Village were attacked with two mines around 9:10 a.m. on September 29 when they were setting up sentries.
A junta soldier was heavily injured in that attack and although the junta forces fired back with small and heavy weapons, revolutionary soldiers were said to have been unharmed.
Similarly on September 28 around 10:25 p.m., the junta soldiers stationed at Ye U gas station to the west of Wanpyae Village were attacked with mines when they came out to patrol but it is not yet confirmed if they suffered any casualties.
Two junta soldiers were seriously injured and a car was damaged when junta patrols that came out from Myinmu Basic Education High School No. 1 in two civilian cars were attacked with two mines on September 28 morning near Nyaungthonepin to the east of Wanpyae Village.
The attack was carried out by PKDF-MMU and it is said that the revolutionary soldiers are unharmed even though the junta forces chased and attacked them.
