TANINTHARYI DIVISION – The terrorist junta council is shelling the villages in Launglon Township for five days straight and also launching an offensive on the ground, forcing thousands of civilians to flee, reported the residents.
The artillery attacks by the Navy force of the terrorist junta council and the junta forces stationed on the hills between August 17 and 21 are reported to have injured three civilians and forced the residents of Thabawtseik Village and Pyingyi Village to flee in droves.
In addition, the terrorist junta council is also launching an offensive on the ground, raiding Pantinin Village, destroying the houses and stealing the properties and livestocks belonging to the villagers.
“The junta council’s navy force and the junta forces stationed on the hills have been shelling the villages in Launglon Township for five consecutive days. Three civilians were injured by the attacks of the junta dogs (junta forces). All the residents of Thabawtseik Village and Pyingyi Village have fled to safety. Yesterday (August 20), they shelled and raided Maungmagan Village. They ransacked the houses and stole food. Today (August 21), they arrived in Pantinin Village and destroyed some houses. They also stole some food and chickens,” said a resident.
