YANGON DIVISION – An official from Shwebo District Battalion 15, Eagle Guerrilla Force – Civilian Military – SRDF Special Column reported that they carried out a bomb attack while junta forces were holding a meeting on the topics of the junta election and conscripting men over 35 years old at the ward administration office of Ward No. 26 in South Dagon Township, injuring two junta forces and the junta troops turned the ward administration office into a base.
On September 9 at 11:11 p.m. while junta subordinate Ward Administration Officer Ye Thura and junta council troops were holding a meeting to discuss the junta election and the conscription of men over 35 years old at the ward administration office, they were attacked with a mine explosion and two junta forces were injured.
“We can confirm that two were injured. Junta vehicles arrived at the ward administration office this morning (September 10) and junta forces are stationed there now. All our comrades are safe. We, Shwebo District Battalion 15, are conducting missions in Shan-Man as well as Tigyaing. We are running the Shwebo Chone Htal Campaign to equip our frontline soldiers with bulletproof shields and helmets. We would like to request the public to contribute to that campaign,” said the official from Shwebo District Battalion 15, Eagle Guerrilla Force – Civilian Military – SRDF Special Column.
The explosion attack was carried out by official from Shwebo District Battalion 15, Eagle Guerrilla Force – Civilian Military – SRDF Special Column and the comrades of Shwebo Battalion 15. It is rumoured that the junta council might replace Administration Officer Ye Thura soon while the revolutionary force said that they will attack the new administration officer as well.
