SAGAING DIVISION- Anti-Dictatorship People’s Revolutionary Army (ADPRA) announced that 5 junta soldiers were killed and 3 weapons were seized as they attacked the junta column came out of their camp on the Monywa – Pathein road where 150-strong forces were stationed.
On July 22, at 6:30 a.m., 5 junta soldiers were killed and 1 was seriously wounded when the joint public defense force waited and opened fire on the terrorist junta column (that came out of their camp on the Monywa-Pathein road) in the middle of the road between Ontongpin and Kyaysarkya village. Three MA-11-type assault rifles used by terrorist soldiers were reportedly seized.
“They have been stationed on the Pathein-Monywa road for a long time. It’s a enforcement to provide security for the cars carrying copper. Six soldiers came out of the camp and our allied groups launched a pre-emptive attack between the villages Ontongpin and Kyaysarkya,” said the official of ADPRA.
The attack was carried out by the Yinmarpin District Battalion No. 30 – ADPRA Company 2 (Black Shadow PDF). Min Maung People’s Defense Force, Chindwin Garuda King’s Army, Mahura Daungmin Army, CDRF, and Black Eagle joined forces. One member of the People’s Defense Forces was fallen during the attack.
