SAGAING DIVISION – An official from Kalay District People’s Defence Organisation (PDO) informed that battles could break out at any time as the junta council is conducting offensives on the Kalaywa-Mawlite Road and advised the people to avoid using the land and water routes.
It is said that four junta iron plate reinforced vehicles, fully manned and loaded with drones and weapon boxes, that came out from the regional operation command (ROC) on November 26 arrived at Kalaywa-Mawlite Road.
As such, confrontations between the revolutionary forces and the junta troops could break out at any time and this Kalay District PDO temporarily blocked the land and water routes between Kalaywa and Mawlite starting November 27.
“Four vehicles reinforced with iron plates that came out from the ROC, carrying MA4, MA3, drones and weapon boxes and also filled with junta dogs (junta forces) reached the exit of the town yesterday (November 26). As it is a situation where the revolutionary forces could get into battles against them at any moment, we had to shut down the road,” explained the official from Kalay District PDO.
The official added that it will be announced later when the road is reopened for passage.
