SAGAING DIVISION – The Kachin Independence Army (KIA) is attacking the junta camps in Inndaw Town and the fighting is intense while the junta council is responding by conducting airstrikes, reported a KIA source.
Starting November 1, KIA joint forces attacked the terrorist junta camps in Inndaw. The Myitkyina-Mandalay Road is also temporarily closed, with people stuck.
Moreover, the terrorist junta council has been carrying out continuous airstrikes since the fighting started and the junta camps are also said to be desperately defending using heavy weapons as the battles intensify.
“The fighting is intense. Nothing has been captured so far. It’s still ongoing,” said the KIA military source.
After KIA joint forces captured the junta police station in Inndaw the junta outpost at Nabar Intersection on August 16 and the junta station at the monastery in Nabar Village on August 17, the fighting calmed down but restarted on November 1.
