KACHIN STATE – It was reported that Kachin Independence Army (KIA) led Revolutionary Forces attacked and completely acquired all of the junta bases in Tsawlaw Township and Tsawlaw Town in Chipwi District, according to KIA news source.
On October 2, at 7:20 a.m., KIA led Revolutionary Forces reportedly captured all of the junta bases in Tsawlaw Township, including junta-backed militant’s bases and along with Tsawlaw Town in Chipwi District. They also captured the prisoners of war and seized many weapons and ammunition.
“There are no junta dogs (military soldiers) in Tsawlaw Town. All the military bases have been captured. The details of the casualties of junta dogs and the amount of seized weapons and ammunition was not yet confirmed,” said a KIA source.
Similarly, starting at 5:00 a.m., on September 29, KIA, KPDF and allied Revolutionary Forces attacked the bases of terrorist junta forces, militia camps, Chipwi police station, 4-mile collective gate and strategic outpost, in Chipwi Town, and captured all along with Chipwi Town.
