NORTHERN SHAN STATE- Karenni Progressive Party (KNPP), Karen National Union (KNU), and Chin National Force (CNF) released a joint statement congratulating and expressing pride over the capture of Lashio-based Junta Northeast Regional Command (Ramakha) by the Northern Alliance Forces and also mentioned to work together to eliminate the dictatorship to build a Federal Union.
On August 3, the Myanmar National Democratic Alliance Army (MNDAA) and Ta’ang National Liberation Army (TNLA) attacked the Northeast Military Headquarters in Lashio, Northern Shan State, and successfully captured. KNPP, KNU, and CNF are very happy and proud of their achievements, as mentioned in the statement.
We are proud of the success of the second part of Operation-1027 launched by Northern Alliance Revolutionary Forces and wish for continuous victories until the coup is overthrown.
“The victory in occupying Junta Northeast Regional Command is an important milestone for the fall of the military council. Onwards this victory, we wish to eradicate all tyranny including military dictatorship, and reform the new system people wanted through a political and military balance process and the establishment of a Federal Union,” the KNPP, KNU, and CNF expressed a joint opinion.
