TANINTHARYI DIVISION – Longlon township People’s Defense Forces (LLPDF) announced this afternoon that they attacked the Terrorist Junta Council troops stationed near Moung Makan police station, Moungmakan Village, Longlon township at 2:00 p.m. on September 12th with 40mm grenades.
During the attack, there was a 10-minute exchange of fire with junta forces. The casualties from the junta council’s army is still under investigation.
The attack and shooting was carried out by Zone (1) Shwe Thaungyan Platoon, Longlon People Defense Force and a public defense soldier was injured, according to the statement.
