The terrorist junta troops invaded Bone Baw Village in Ngape Township for the second time, on November 23, and intentionally torched all of the residential houses in the village.
During the second arson attack, many houses were burned to ashes, and the exact number was unknown. On November 8, the junta forces also raided and burned down Bone Baw Village for the first time, and eight residential houses were destroyed.
“Hundreds of junta forces invaded and burned down the village on November 23. So far, we know that at least 40 houses have been burned to the ground. We cannot go to the village to see as the junta dogs (military soldiers) are still there. They are firing artillery shells all the time,” said a resident.
The Revolutionary Forces raided and attacked the military camp at Bone Baw junction near Goke Gyi Village in Ngape Township on November 6. Afterwards, the junta column invaded Bone Baw Village and committed the first arson attacks on November 8, and the second arson on November 23.
“As military vehicles and columns are frequently attacked on the Ann-Pa Dan Road in Ngape Township, the junta army carried out offensive attacks in Ngape Township. They are mainly using that route to send reinforcements to Rakhine and Ann. That is why the junta army raided villages more,” a military source explained.
At present, the locals of Ngape Township, including Bone Baw Village, had been forced to flee, and around 100 military personnel had been roaming around and conducting offensive attacks.
