MANDALAY DIVISION- Mr. Osmon, the spokesman for Mandalay PDF, stated that due to the resurgence of fights along the Madaya-Singu-Thabeikyin Road, traveling has been banned.
From November 26, due to the current military situation, temporary restriction of travel on the Madaya-Singu-Thabeikyin Road is announced by Mandalay PDF (People’s Defense Force Mandalay). This statement is valid until further notice.
“The use of this section of the road has been restricted due to the reoccurrence of fights between junta troops and resistance forces in Madaya and Thabeikyin Townships. Mainly because of the safety of the travelers, the restriction on travel has issued. Depending on the militiary situation, there may be a re-opening of the road or a complete banning of travel,” said Ko Osmon, Mandalay PDF’s spokesperson.
Moreover, Mandalay PDF restricted the importation of terrorist military products, and trading and using military products are strictly prohibited. Warnings and strict action will be taken if violations are found, MDY PDF announced.
